1. Go to the Calendar section of Outlook.


2. Click on New Meeting located on the Home tab. Select the start/end dates and times for the proposed event.


3. Click on the box labeled Rooms… located to the right of Location


4. A dialogue box with conference rooms and equipment that can be reserved is displayed. Highlight the room (or equipment) that you want to reserve and then click the box that says Rooms->. The highlighted resource will be selected. Click on OK. 

Note: you may choose multiple rooms if you want to compare availability.


5. To check the availability of the selected Room(s) click on Scheduling Assistant located in the Meeting tab. You will be able to view any meetings scheduled for the resources and other attendees that you selected.


6. Don’t forget to delete any rooms or resources you are not using. And of course, don’t forget to click on send to schedule the room!
